25 Lamest WrestleMania Moments Of All Time

23. WrestleMania XXVI - Jack Swagger Wins MITB

Before it was the centerpiece of its own pay-per-view event, the Money in the Bank ladder match was a part of WrestleMania, and always guaranteed to deliver excitement. In that sense, the sixth iteration of the match, at WrestleMania XXVI, was no different.

The problem was that the originally planned winner, Drew McIntyre, was disciplined after a highly-publicized domestic incident with then-wife Taryn "Tiffany" Terrell. McIntyre was out - who would take his place? The question was answered - and fans were gobsmacked - when the floundering Jack Swagger unhooked the briefcase (with difficulty).

Where McIntyre's victory would have gone is unknown, but Swagger cashed in two days later, defeating Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship and becoming one of the worst-booked titleholders in company history. By the time he lost the belt to Rey Mysterio in June, he had become a reminder of the fallibility of WWE's booking team. The title reign did nothing for Swagger, and fans who were disappointed by his WrestleMania win were proven right.
