24. WrestleMania XII - Hollywood Backlot Brawl

After Razor Ramon was suspended from WWE prior to WrestleMania XII, 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper took his place in a bout with the bizarre Goldust. Billed as a Hollywood Backlot Brawl, the two talented grapplers clashed in an alleyway fight reminiscent of the legendary battle scene in Piper's cult classic They Live. The action was unorthodox, but it was compelling.

Then things took a turn. Goldust, being beaten by Piper, hopped in his gold Cadillac and fled the scene. Piper got in his white Ford Bronco and gave chase, and throughout the show, clips of the chase were shown. This was meant to spoof the OJ Simpson car chase prior to Simpson's arrest, but in typical WWE fashion, it came two years later (footage of the actual OJ chase was used, however).

They finally arrived at the Arrowhead Pond and brawled to the ring, where Piper somehow defeated Goldust by stripping him down to women's lingerie and hitting him in the crotch.
