25 Most Iconic WWE Ring Entrances Ever

7. Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania XIV)

The clock was ticking on Shawn Michaels' career as he walked the aisle at WrestleMania XIV, and at just 32 years old, he was ill-prepared for the time to have just about ran out

Wrestling for the first time since a Royal Rumble bump off a casket in January ended up being his untimely ending, 'The Showstopper' stomped his way onto the 'Grandest Stage' as a man with one last WrestleMania moment in him, even if it literally killed him.

Seemingly unconcerned with putting over the next biggest star in the industry and main eventing one of the most important shows in company history in the process, Michaels was - in keeping with his demeanour at the time - completely and wonderfully self-obsessed. He eyes shot raging balls of fire at a world he knew was all-too-fine with moving on from him, his body trying to fake the inherently flawed belief that he was 'The Icon that could still go'.

Roaring "Who's the f*cking man?!" straight down the lens at the viewing public (and literally anybody else he could pose the question to) in a show of defiance against his own fragility, the mammoth insecurities during his entrance were masked about as well as the devastating pain he experienced during the contest itself. His heart was as usual firmly planted on his sleeve. Fittingly and not unlike the rest of him, it was broken.
