Here we are. One week out from seeing our favourite bunch of WWE stars take to Raymond James Stadium and wrassle in front of 25,000 strong for two nights in a row. Well, that is if your favourite wrestler isn't a part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal or SmackDown Tag Team Championship scene...

It also marks exactly one week until the forbidden door comes crashing open once again, with Chris Jericho this time breaking the walls down by re-emerging on WWE programming for the first time since 2018 and appearing as the latest guest on the Broken Skull Sessions show with 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. Truly, anything is possible in 2021, folks.

There was still a whole lot a action to get through before we got to today, though, and Monday Night Raw saw the disastrous decision to break up the Hurt Business only bettered/worsened by the reveal that Baron Corbin had seemingly claimed WWE Champion Bobby Lashley's bounty on Drew McIntyre.

NXT saw LA Knight book his last place spot in the Stand and Deliver Night 1 North American Championship Number One Contendership Gauntlet Eliminator match (seriously, even explaining that is a convoluted experience), and Io Shirai be used as Raquel Gonzalez' personal crash test dummy.

And finally, SmackDown played host to the greatest series of dance moves in all of entertainment history. Sami Zayn for Strictly anyone?

As always, however, there's only one way we can sign off another week in the land of WWE. By admiring Asuka's excellent photoshop skills on Instagram, of course!
