8. Shane McMahon Berates Braun Strowman

Shane McMahon is largely a figure of ridicule among wrestling fans. Maybe it's the comedic nature of his punches, or perhaps it's the stories that surround his backstage conduct. Whatever the reason for this downgrade in public perception, Shane's downward spiral continued in 2021, as he engaged in a monotonous feud with Braun Strowman that was based on childish, playground nonsense that seemed to go on forever.

Shane McMahon would turn up on WWE television to call Braun a "big dumb dumb" before running away without consequence. This happened over and over and over again. Week in, week out. This rivalry was tedious due to repetition and refusing to add any extra layers to flesh this out, but it was also confusing, as it's not as if Shane McMahon has ever been seen as the intellectual saviour of the masses.

The culmination of Shane goading Strowman came during a Steel Cage Match at WrestleMania 37. It was fun to see Shane McMahon be hurled from the top of the cage and pinned after a Running Power Slam, but this match was given more time at WrestleMania 37 than Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn in their only one-on-one match at The Showcase Of The Immortals to date, as well as both the Intercontinental and United States Championship matches.
