27 WTF Moments From WWE RAW (July 18)
6. That Makes No Sense Maggle!
1238463Maggle Cole legitimately tried to tell us that Dean Ambrose has never ever defeated Seth Rollins in a one-on-one matchup. That's despite The Lunatic Fringe taking the WWE Championship from The Architect fairly and squarely with his MITB contract a couple of weeks ago.
When a contract is cashed-in, a new match starts. The referee calls for the bell and no matter how long they last for we have ourselves a proper bell-to-bell singles match - unless Rollins cashes-in during a singles match to make a bonafide Triple Threat at a WrestleMania, for example.
Where Maggle's got this idea they aren't proper matches is beyond me. He said during this week's RAW that he doesn't think they are proper matches even though he knows the referee calls for the bell and starts and new contest when the briefcase is handed over.
Words fails me sometimes....
Furthermore, if you go back and watch the May 4 edition of WWE RAW from last year you'll see Dean Ambrose pick up a singles win against Seth Rollins. You'll see the same if you go back and watch the September 24 edition of SmackDown, not to mention if you have a look at the house match records from recent times that show Ambrose has defeated Rollins in every possible type of match cleanly since picking up the championship.
RESEARCH, Maggle. Please.
