3 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Dec 10)

Ups...

3. A Debut To Treasure

Honesty is important.

When Hook first showed up as part of Team Taz, this writer sighed and started worrying that annoying nepotism would creep into AEW's product big time. Y'know something else? This writer was dead wrong. Hook owned his in-ring debut on this week's Rampage.

The little nods to his father, including the Tazmission, were very nice. Hook has presence by the bucketload, and it'll be exciting to see what happens next. Tony Khan made it official official post-show that he's been signed to a full-time contract as a wrestler too, so it's onto the next for Taz's boyo.

AEW avoided dragging the debut out too long, and they didn't get over-elaborate with Hook's entrance either. He marched out with a scowl, dissed Fuego Del Sol by turning his back to him, and then systematically tore his opponent to pieces with a strong ground game.
