3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Battle Of The Belts IV

Jade Cargill Willow Nightingale
AEW

Onto the good.

Whilst Jade Cargill vs. Willow Nightingale wasn't the kind of match that'll change your life, it was one of Jade's better showings and deserves some praise. These women work very well together, largely because Willow talks Cargill through everything and it's impressive when Jade uses power moves on someone just as powerful as she is.

The TBS Champ is now 39-0, and that winning streak won't be ending for a while yet. One gets the feeling that AEW will either reach 100-0 then call it quits, or try to go the full way towards shattering Bill Goldberg's old WCW record just because they can. If so, then get ready for more matches just like this one.

Special mention for Willow - she honestly deserves so much more of the All Elite spotlight. Nightingale is fab, energetic, better than some give her credit for in-ring, and seems to have traction with the AEW audience. It'd be nice to see her on Dynamite more often.
