3 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Rampage (April 22)

Jade Cargill was always reaching 30-0.

There was no way Tony Khan was taking that TBS Title from her waist and shoving it on Marina Shafir, put it that way. Cargill has steadily been getting better with each passing match, and her best days are very much ahead of her. This was yet more proof of that.

Shafir isn't some experienced veteran who could cover Jade's tracks or guide the TBS Champ through, so it's worth noting how well Cargill did here. Both women played their part, but Jade is the definite star of the piece and now has a main event win on Rampage under her belt.

It was a solid-enough headliner. The agent in charge of the bout smartly laced it with enough distractions from The Baddies and Mark Sterling to keep things moving, and they didn't ask either woman to do anything that would've been outside of their respective comfort zones.
