3 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Rampage: Black Friday (Nov 25)

1. Tag. Team. Wrestling.

Few teams on the planet work tag bouts like FTR.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have the perfect blend between traditional tag fundamentals and the quicker pace of today's product. They make everything look so effortless, but you know that's not the case. This is what happens when a team is studious, ultra-talented and gives a toss about their matches.

In fairness, Top Flight matched FTR all the way. At times, Rampage's opener looked pay-per-view quality, and that's a huge thing to say when one recognises the high bar set by tag matches on AEW supershows. Yours truly ain't even mad that it was a thrown-together title scrap with next-to-no build.

Imagine that! No whining!

Seriously though, it wouldn't have been bad had the full hour been dedicated to this smooth-as-they-come tag display. A rematch at Final Battle would be fully-deserved for Dante and Darius - it looks like The Gunn Club (or possibly another team) will get that slot though.
