1. Why Is This Still Going On?

Is it Halloween season or April Fools?!

Gunther definitively beating down Danhausen before brawling with Finn Bálor last week should’ve been the end of the Gunther vs. Danhausen mini feud, but it continued this week. Firstly, Gunther looked silly for thinking he was talking to Nick Aldis, then he promised to make Halloween “special” for Mr. Hausen.

Yeah, so this really isn’t doing anything for Gunther. Maybe some internal worries about where he’s headed are justified. Nobody needs another match between these guys, but it looks like we’re getting one, and that's a problem when one pauses to consider where the 'Ring General' should be.

Surely his issues with Bálor are more exciting than whatever this is supposed to be with Danhausen. Honestly, if the face painted imp zaps Gunther with one of his weird devices and sends him back to barking about Imperium for laughs, then we'll know that WWE's writers have lost the plot.

How can somebody go from retiring Bill Goldberg, John Cena and AJ Styles to this? It's maddening. Personally, this guy was willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt when Danhausen started popping up during Gunther's promos, but things are going too far and actually risk damaging a top star.

There's no need whatsoever to stick these dudes in the ring as opponents ever again. It should've been a 'one and done' situation, and WWE deftly sidestepped the silliness last week by having Finn rush out. What are they gonna do: Repeat the trick just for the sake of it?
