3 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Feb 12)
1. Seth Rollins Teasing A Babyface Turn
He's back.
Seth Rollins returned on Smackers and teased that he's a new man after watching Becky Lynch give birth to their beautiful baby daughter. That didn't last long, of course. Rollins went on to revert back to his arrogant 'Messiah' gimmick by claiming that the blue brand needs someone bold who'll lead it to glory.
WWE's roster walked out on Seth after that. Cesaro was the last to go, which resulted in a vicious beatdown for the Swiss man; that's why this gets an 'Up'. Just think of the stunning matches Rollins is going to have with Cesaro and the man who saved him, Daniel Bryan. They're enough to make any wrestling fan salivate.
Rollins' babyface ruse was clever too. WWE will have to be careful not to book Seth and Roman Reigns the exact same way each Friday, but there's enough heel material to go around anyway. Plus, Rollins can be more match-centric than Reigns thanks to the skills of Cesaro and Bryan.
