3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Clash In Italy (Results & Review)
DOWNS…
6. Oh Goodie! More Bloodline Stuff On The Horizon

If you turned off Clash in Italy shortly after Roman Reigns vanquished Jacob Fatu and effectively folded him into Bloodline 2.0, you missed the next chapter of the burgeoning saga.
As Reigns, the Usos and Fatu left the ring, they caught sight of Solo Sikoa and the remains of the MFTs in the crowd. Roman pledged that he had something for them and that they would be dealing with them very soon. Jacob made eye contact and lingered for a bit while Solo shook his head at him disapprovingly.
What does all of this mean? Look, it could be a positive development – the MFTs have had their moments as a mid-card act, and bringing the different personalities into the mix could make for more interesting television than a focus on Roman arguing with Raw GM Adam Pearce.
However, it’s hard to have any level of confidence in the ability of the creative team at present, meaning that we will most likely get a lot of soliloquies, staredowns and melodrama that leads nowhere. The original Bloodline drama worked because of the humanity of characters like Sami Zayn and Jey Uso. Unless Fatu and Solo are going to replicate that humanity, we could be in store for a less-than-ideal Bloodline reboot.
We’ll be cautiously optimistic, but until WWE rebuilds trust in its booking, this will get a tenuous “down.”
