5. What Was The Point?

WWE plans to prep Shayna Baszler and Natalya for a crack at the Women's Tag-Team Titles. Apparently, the best way to do that is by having Shayna (arguably the most-overlooked wrestler in this entire company) lose short, unsatisfying bouts to Naomi before Nattie looks strong post-match.

What are they bloody doing?!

Baszler barely got to show off any kind of threat before staring at the lights following Naomi's roll-up finish, and her part in the beatdown didn't paint Shayna as some killer either. One has to question why WWE books things this way, especially if they have designs on selling the idea that the champs are in trouble.

This match and post-match kicking segment whizzed past and did nothing to sell the coming title shot. So, in summary, Shayna can't get the job done when it matters but can ambush after losing? Got it. How does that make Baszler and Natalya threatening?
