3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (July 28)

Ups...

3. A Long Overdue Fresh Look

Bobby Lashley Street Profits Hurt Business
WWE

The Street Profits are heading for big changes on SmackDown, and that's long overdue. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins were asked to pick out new threads by Bobby Lashley during a brief backstage skit on Friday night, and the segment was really all it needed to be.

Things are moving in the right direction.

The Profits being suited and booted by Lashley is in-keeping with the ex-WWE Champ's old presentation as leader of the Hurt Business, and it'll work for Ford and Dawks. Hopefully, creative doesn't over-egg the pudding by adding loads of members after Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams though.

WWE's new stable shouldn't become some 2023 retelling of the nWo B-team, in other words. Personally, this fan is encouraged by the thought that The Profits will become Bobby's new heavies. Keep developing this angle slowly, please.
