3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Mar 11)

This was more like it!

Charlotte and Ronda had a tepid promo heart-to-heart earlier in the night, and it sucked, but they made up for that by working a stiff brawl backstage to close SmackDown. Less of that weak promo stuff and more segments like this, please. Again, as referenced earlier, Rousey excels when things are physical.

WWE should play to her strengths way more than they do, being honest. She lacks poise and presence on the mic, and that's unlikely to change. Compare the ineptness of her mic work with this wild and reckless brawl - it's night and day, people.

Flair closed the show by giving Ronda a receipt for that ankle lock last week, and there's a real chance that WWE are creeping towards 'Submission Match' territory with this feud. That wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, especially when both women have credible submission finishes.
