3. Great Build For Obnoxious AJ Styles

As challenging as it was for the man to create something special against Apollo Crews, AJ Styles managed to come out of SmackDown shining. Primo and Epico be damned, AJ is the true 'shining star' on the WWE roster, he pretty much works wonders with whatever he's handed by the creative team.

Even though the bout with Crews wasn't anything special, it was still a good win for Styles heading into his WWE Title challenge at Backlash. A brief backstage segment also showed AJ's vigour, he looked goofy as heck wearing a John Cena arm band around his head, coming across like a cast member of 'That 70's Show'.

Out of touch and brilliantly obnoxious, AJ was at it again in the main event. There, his presence enhanced the match between Dean Ambrose and Baron Corbin. Styles couldn't outright save it, but he's a true MVP (not the wrestler) in WWE at the moment.
