At NXT TakeOver: Toronto The Revival put their NXT Tag Team Championships on the line against Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa of #DIY in a best two-out-of-three falls match. What followed was 22 minutes of world-class tag team wrestling, storytelling and moment-building at its very best.

The match ended with Dash and Dawson locked in stereo submission moves, creating a career-defining visual for both teams. Dash and Dawson's friendship came to a peak, as they held hands in the middle of the ring to stop the other tapping out and losing the championships. It played perfectly off the duo's retention of the straps against #DIY earlier in the year.

It wasn't enough however, as both men tapped out and allowed the hard-working duo to pick up the win and the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
