22. You Shouldn’t Sleep On Capital Carnage

The Rock Stone Cold Steve Austin
WWE

Yes, this is a real entry with context and everything.

Capital Carnage was very-much a glorified UK house show with cameras, but the lively crowd and general buzz surrounding the product means you should go out of your way to see this one if you've always sidestepped it. Carnage was maybe the last essential UK-based show of the era.

Others to come, like Rebellion and Insurrextion, always felt phoned-in by comparison. At Carnage, The Rock vs. X-Pac and a riotous four-way main event are pulsating viewing even all these years on. The pop for Vinnie Jones getting a red card was one of the biggest of the night, called impeccably by JR despite the Hall-Of-Famer suffering a Bell's Palsy attack during the broadcast.
