15. Balor's Astonishing Debut
Finn Balor pins Roman Reigns, earning the right to face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam for the newly-created WWE Universal Championship.
One of the biggest moments of the 2016 WWE Draft saw Finn Balor called up to Raw by Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley, although he didn't make his first appearance until a short while later. In one of the most astonishing debuts in WWE history, Balor won a fatal four-way against Rusev, Cesaro, and Kevin Owens, before sensationally defeating Roman Reigns (clean!) to earn his place in the first ever WWE Universal title match.
Although many fans rejoiced at Balor's immediate impact, some - including Vince Russo - derided WWE for pushing a newcomer to the main roster so quickly.
