35 Top WrestleMania Performers In WWE History

15. Daniel Bryan (5-1)

To put it mildly, Daniel Bryan was WrestleMania 30. He opened it and he closed it, beating three of the members of Evolution in the process. That alone pushes Bryan high on the list.

He also has defended the WWE Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 29 with Kane, and he won the Intercontinental Championship in what would be his final Mania match for several years at 31.

Bryan’s lone blemish came in the infamous World Heavyweight Championship match where Sheamus defeated him in 18 seconds with a Brogue Kick at Mania 28. That one kick pissed off fans and sent Bryan on a weird trajectory that ultimately led to his pairing with Kane.

As fans know, Bryan returned to action at WM 34 last year, teaming with Shane McMahon to defeat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. He’s slated to defend the WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston this year, so it’s yet another high-profile match for the Planet’s Champion.
