Andrew Zarian is reporting via the 'Mat Men' podcast on X that Tony Khan plans to take AEW's tentpole pay-per-view Double Or Nothing to New York in 2026. The company hasn't announced a concrete date for the show just yet, but every single once since DoN debuted in 2019 has taken place over Memorial Day weekend.

That'd place 2026's show on 24 May, but plans could change.

Zarian says that DoN 2026 will take place at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. That venue holds approx 14,000 for tennis matches, but the number will surely fluctuate for pro wrestling. It really depends on the set up AEW uses for one of their biggest PPVs this year.

4 of the first 6 Double Or Nothing shows took place in Las Vegas - 2020 and 2021's versions occurred in Jacksonville, Florida, and 2025's show went on the road to Glendale, Arizona. Now, New York is firmly in Khan's crosshairs.

Traditionally, NY has always been considered a WWE hotbed/territory. If Queens and the Louis Armstrong Stadium are in Tony's sights, then DoN 2026 will be the third AEW pay-per-view to take place in the city after Worlds End 2023 and Forbidden Door 2024.

AEW has 2 other pay-per-views to promote before reaching May's show. Revolution is slated for 15 March, and Dynasty will follow that on 12 April. The latter takes place a week before WWE presents WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

Double Or Nothing looks sets for a major market then. That's good news for Khan and AEW's fanbase.
