On paper, a match between New Day and Randy Orton & Riddle should be nothing but fireworks.

In execution, the tag match on Monday night was exactly what we expected. The four men had a solid, strong and entertaining battle as the two teams finally exploded after weeks of confrontations and mixed matches. New Day showcased their continuity, but Orton & Riddle also showed that they have some teamwork skills as well.

It was Orton, however, countering an Honor Roll into an RKO, that sealed the victory for his team after a hard-fought battle. The win helped continue RK-Bro’s ascent in the tag team division, while the loss could be fuel for Kofi Kingston’s descent.

Time will tell in both cases.
