4 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (June 14)

3. Is That A Heel Turn?

Just a reminder to WWE that they are welcoming fans back into its arenas in about a month, which means they’ll need to figure out who they want those fans to cheer and boo – and then book them appropriately.

On Monday night, we saw a confrontation between WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya & Tamina and perennial losers Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke. The blonde bombshells were posing for photos and asked the tag champs to knock off the noise as they sparred in a training ring nearby. This prompted Nattie to put them down, saying they were more concerned about photoshoots than improving in the ring (true).

Things devolved from there, but the question here: Who are the faces? Rose & Brooke were faces just a couple weeks ago, but they were certainly acting heelish. And Nattie & Tamina might not be outright heels, but can you envision fans cheering them on in this equation?

This is one of those segments where WWE has gotten away with stuff because there aren’t any fans. Throw a live crowd in the mix and you might be greeted with deafening boos – or worse, deafening silence.
