6. Take Him Seriously, He Has A Briefcase

Remember a couple of weeks ago when the Miz flipped a switch and delivered a super-serious promo about how he’s treated like a joke? How he was tired of it and wanted to be taken seriously?

Yeah, well about that… Miz continued his losing ways on Monday night, as he and John Morrison fell in yet another tag match, losing to Sheamus & Keith Lee (though it was JoMo taking the fall). Miz made a huge show of wanting to be seen as a serious threat and made a strong case for getting his Money in the Bank briefcase back.

When it was returned to him, you thought that maybe, just maybe, the false cash-in could be something of a reset for Miz after months of being little more than a midcard joke. But instead, it’s been more of the same, with Miz losing to Gran Metalik and a tag match to New Day in the past couple of weeks.

But hey, he’s holding the MITB briefcase, so he’s a future world champion, right? That’s gotta count for something.
