4 Ups & 11 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 22)

2. Imitation Is The Sincerest Form Of Flattery

Jimmy Smith might have said it best when he described RK-Bro as a duo that shouldn’t work, but somehow just does.

After defeating the Usos at Survivor Series Sunday night, Riddle showed up dressed as Randy Orton in an effort to better emulate him. This led to an exasperated Orton to bemoan that he was saying be like him, not be him. But Riddle Orton went out and wrestled Dolph Ziggler in a decent little bout that saw him hit a couple of Randy signatures before dropping the Show-Off with an RKO.

Not to be outdone, Orton intercepted Robert Roode and hit him with a Bro Derek in a show of team unity. To be fair, we saw both men ape each other’s move sets during the ThunderDome Era, but since that wasn’t in front of fans, we can safely redo it here… and it worked pretty nicely.

At least this is one tag team that isn’t currently in a perpetual state of “Can they get along?”
