Bryan Danielson makes a promise; Kyle O'Reilly = workhorse; AEW could do more?

There wasn't much of a noticeable difference between this week's episodes of Collision and Rampage. If anything, the former kinda bled into the latter. That's a positive on one hand, but also shows where the usual Saturday night show is struggling - Collision won't start grabbing more eyeballs with the current format it has.

How about Rampage? Well, Rampage is...Rampage. You know what you're getting by now. It's a rapid hour of wrestling with often scant storyline context scattered throughout. This edition, the headline portion of another three-hour block brought about by sports playoffs, was no different.

AEW did produce some really watchable matches. Both the opener and headliner went down a treat with the live crowd, and Kyle O'Reilly entered another MVP-worthy performance. Kyle has been having some cracking matches since his return, and that's sweet to see.

Negatives came from Tony Khan's boring obsession with the squash match trope (this better lead to something worthwhile for Rush!), and suggestions he could've done more with three full hours of telly when Double Or Nothing is on tap next weekend.

Here are all the 'Ups' and 'Downs' from Rampage.
