4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (April 5 - Results & Review)

1. A Multi-Man With Selling!

Action Andretti Daniel Garcia
AEW

OK, so it's uncommon for AEW's multi-man matches to have this much selling in them. Normally, wrestlers ignore selling in favour of bouncing around like invincible characters in a video game, but not here. Action Andretti sold his knee pretty well during the main event four way, and that should be encouraged.

See?! Selling counts.

Andretti tried to keep leaning on his high-flying style whilst injured, and that ultimately cost him. Plus, Daniel Garcia looked like a real opportunist for spotting Action's bad wheel and exploiting it for the victory. His win got a respectable pop from the live crowd too. People really dig Danny.

Being brutally honest, things got even better once Bryan Keith and Komander were eliminated. That's not meant as damning criticism of either man; there was just more juice in Andretti vs. Garcia one-on-one, especially once Action's selling became the bout's most prominent plot point.
