4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Dec 17)

2. Daniel Garcia Scores The Pin

Daniel Garcia Eddie Kingston
AEW

Daniel Garcia had a terrific little match with Eddie Kingston in late-November. It was so good that AEW's creative minds fancy turning it into a proper rivalry between both guys. That, dear readers, is a wonderful position for Garcia to be in as calendars turn to 2022.

On Friday, he rolled up Kingston for the pin and grabbed his tights right in plain view of the camera. Good. Heels should endeavour to cheat as much as possible, and this gives Eddie a reason to be even more p*ssed off than he already was heading into the 10-man main.

Another one-on-one is incoming. Bring it on.

Garcia has flown under the radar next to emerging young stars like MJF, Darby Allin, Jungle Boy and the like, but he's someone who has a very bright future in AEW. 'Red Death' has excelled every time Tony Khan has given him something meaningful.

A rematch with Kingston should be special.
