4 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Nov 17 - Results & Review)

1. Wrong Main Event 2.0

Roderick Strong Action Andretti
AEW

No, this writer is not giving Roderick Strong vs. Action Andretti a 'Down' because of that downright scary neck bump Roddy took from a wonky Spanish Fly. The most important thing coming away from that is Strong's health, and he's absolutely fine. That's a relief.

The match generally though? Meh, it was probs the wrong choice to close out this three hour window from an in-ring perspective. Andretti, whilst flashy, isn't especially over with fans (he's cooled off a lot), and the bout just didn't seem to grip anyone until that aforementioned bad landing shook everyone from their slumbers.

Perhaps that's harsh.

AEW appeared to get their headline choices wrong for both Collision and Rampage, which is honestly something else. Again, this is only one person's opinion. That doesn't mean everyone must agree. Christian Cage vs. Trent Beretta would've been a much stronger match in this spot.
