4 Ups & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Sep 20)
2. An Indie-rific Match
The opening six man tag team match went by feeling like it was from a PWG show, with some impressive spots from all six man involved. It was as if Impact told the guys to just do whatever felt right.
oVe once again showed everyone why they've been at the top of Impact for the past few months, while their opposition - Aero Star, Laredo Kid, and Hijo del Vikingo for that matter - showcased why Impact should be keeping an eye on them in the future. It's common knowledge now that Impact are quite high up on the booking of oVe. This match set the tone for what we can expect in their upcoming six man tag at Bound For Glory. Pure mayhem with action in every corner of the ringside area.
It was the right way to kickstart Impact's time in Mexico, especially with the addition of some Mexican names to the mix. Alongside the Lucha Brothers, oVe have helped put Impact back on the map with some extreme tactics. The trio have featured in some of Impact's best storylines over the last 12 months, something which doesn't appear to be ending any time soon.
