4 Ups & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Sep 20)

1. Fantastic Even In Failure

As it turns out, El Texano is quite a good wrestler. His main event match against World Champion Austin Aries was a good way to round up a fine night of action.

Texano actually got in loads of offence in the match, getting a nail-biting near fall following a superkick. The reigning AAA World Tag Team Champion is exactly the kind of challenger A-Double needed as he heads towards his title defence against Johnny Impact on 14 October. Of course, Texano was never going to win. After all, Aries has the aforementioned title match ahead of him.

It's possible Texano could become a more regular fixture on the Impact roster. He appeared a number of times last year as part of the AAA vs Impact angle, impressing there too. If Impact are looking to expand their product in the Latin American market, Texano could be a guy to help them in that process.
