4 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (26 July - Results & Review)

1. Looks Weaker By The Week

Man, the decision to put those Women's Tag-Team Titles on Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn is looking less essential with every passing week. It was clearly done to appease the local crowd on hand for last month's Clash At The Castle in Scotland, but it's a puzzler when analysing WWE's product generally.

Full focus is on Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, not the champions. In fact, Dawn and Fyre are coming across as second-rate losers next to the babyface duo, and that's concerning. They ambushed next week's challengers from behind here and still took a beating. How did this sell the upcoming title match?!

Bianca and Jade can't regain those belts soon enough.

WWE has done a poor job of making other teams in the division look like a threat. The Scots have barely appeared on telly since winning the things, and here they are getting whipped when they do. It's discouraging as a viewer to see title changes mean so little.
