Those lead-in promos WWE has started doing before a wrestler's entrance rule. The way cameras follow a worker's journey from backstage through Gorilla and then out onto the stage = snazzy. More of that, please. LA Knight's example on SmackDown felt both urgent and exciting. The camerawork draws you in and makes you feel like you're actually there.

Stunning.

Knight went on to work a fine-enough match vs. Santos Escobar before wrapping up some more business with SummerSlam rival Logan Paul. Throughout, WWE told the story of a babyface hero fighting against the numbers to get where he wants to be: United States Championship glory.

Elektra Lopez was a constant nuisance for LA around ringside, then Logan rushed out in a bid to wreck his challenger's momentum. It didn't work. One can't shake the sense that Knight's crusade for gold is unstoppable. He's ready to win a main roster title, people.
