4 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2025 (Results & Review)

Ups…

4. Ruca Rises To The Occasion

The Women’s North American Championship ladder match was largely a soulless spotfest, with one notable exception that deserves some praise.

The closing sequence, beginning with Sol Ruca and Zaria on the top of the ladder, provided a bit of emotional heft and a flurry of action, rather than a slow, melodramatic climb to victory. Ruca and Zaria, who have been a regular tag team in recent months, hesitated at the top of the ladder before slugging each other, with Sol getting the upper hand… or more accurately, upper foot.

From there, Ruca went on a blitz of Sol Snatchers on Izzi Dame, Thea Hail, and Lola Vice to clear the field, then raced up the ladder to capture the title. That sequence also captured the urgency of capitalizing on the moment rather than stretching out the moment for artificial impact.

Solid closing to a spotty ladder match.
