4 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2025 (Results & Review)
3. Women’s Title Match Hits Its Marks
While a singles match between Stephanie Vaquer and either Jordynne Grace or Giulia would have felt like a major event with some heft, those three and Jaida Parker turned in a good effort overall on Saturday.
Vaquer successfully defended her title, overcoming Grace’s power, Giulia’s strikes, and Parker’s unpredictability. The match featured several multi-woman sequences, though it did default to far more one-on-one segments than the men’s triple threat did in the main event. Still, they blitzed through the closing moments, with Vaquer finally landing a trifecta of the Devil’s Kiss, which sent Booker T into cardiac arrest.
While functionally enjoyable, the match suffered from a lack of drama and investment; it never really felt like Stephanie was dropping the title, and everything was just building to the moment where La Primera would pin Parker. Even the person taking the fall was signposted.
Call this barely an “up” on the strength of the work, but the negatives of being a four-way with an obvious finish really dragged it down from being something truly memorable.
