4. Jade Cargill’s A Badass, But…

…the reigning Women's Champ needs something bigger to do than scrap with the likes of Michin.

They were supposed to have a match nobody asked for on Friday night, but it turned into a brawl and angle instead. A backstage staredown with Rhea Ripley seems more promising for Jade, but the whole ‘Michin refuses to stay down’ thing is dull as dishwater whether she’s using kendo sticks, tables etc or not. Seriously, what is the point in continuing this?

Fans weren't tripping over one another to see Michin take the fight to Cargill beforehand, and they certainly won't be now that Jade just roughed her up like Diesel manhandling Bob Backlund in 1994. Here's hoping that brighter days are ahead for Cargill, because her title reign has been a washout thus far and that's not her fault - WWE's creative team are just slow to get going.

It's like Jade winning the belt from Tiffany Stratton back at Saturday Night's Main Event in early-November was some sudden surprise to them. They didn't have any meaningful follow up for the reborn heel, which is a shame and something Cargill herself should be questioning. Big stars need big moments. They defo don't need to be mixing it with stars that lack credibility.

Imagine Steve Austin tangling with Barry Windham and the NWA stable in 1998. That's what this is like. Peeps tuning in don't want to see it, they're not buying it as important, and it's a complete waste of a major name. Jade deserves better, so fingers crossed that's the last of this B-FAB and Michin business.
