WWE deserves a pass for pretty much hitting the repeat button on John Cena's tag partner reveal this week. LA Knight's COVID issue meant the company had to postpone that particular plot point, but things worked out well in the end. Now, LA rolls on to team with JC at Fastlane.

Arguably, the live crowd wasn't as into the thought of both guys teaming up vs. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa as they could've been, but that might be because everyone knew ahead of time what was going to happen here. Still, big spot for Knight incoming, and it's another step towards superstardom for the man.

It's hard to argue with that.

AJ Styles was a fine makeweight to keep the story ticking along in LA's absence anyway. The Bloodline putting him in hospital made them look dangerous, and they had Cena's number two on one before Knight rushed in to make the save then sign the contract.

Yeah!
