4 Ups & 5 Downs For WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025 (Results & Review)
Ups…
4. The Two Bronnys Go Over
When LA Knight came out as the special guest referee, the smart money said that the Megastar would get physically involved in the tag match between the Usos and the Vision, likely costing Jey Uso the match.
Instead, Knight had some close calls during the contest, but he pretty much took a lax approach to reffing, allowing the match to turn into a mini-plunder brawl, with steel chairs and a table getting utilized.
The match itself was fine, with the Usos getting some double teams in their first tag match in two years, while the Brons used their size and power to control much of the match. There was a nice sequence toward the end that saw a 1D on Bron Breakker with Bronson Reed saving, followed by a Breakkensteiner on Jey, a missed moonsault from Reed, a swanton from Jimmy Uso, a Breakker spear, and finally a Jey spear and splash for a close two count.
The finish seemed a bit abrupt, but that was probably due to Jey getting split open when he swung the chair and it recoiled into his forehead. In the end, Breakker speared both Usos through a table (with Jey shoving Knight out of the way) and Reed splatting Jey with a Tsunami.
Either way, the Vision needed a signature win, and with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch falling short in their tag match, the Brons needed to go over here. Hopefully, WWE pays it off with a tag title match soon rather than another meaningless Raw main event involving the same characters.
