2. Grimes & Lumis Overdeliver

"Overdeliver" might seem like faint praise, given the putrid build to Cameron Grimes vs. Dexter Lumis, but this was a genuinely well-worked strap match that utilised the stipulation well and delivered a level of animosity appropriate to the feud.

Grimes, terrified of facing Lumis in a fair fight, jumped the former Sam Shaw at the bell, ambushing him with the strap he'd brought to the ring, before Dexter could even tether himself to the heel. He was suitably intense as he put a beating on Lumis, though Dexter eventually strapped in, got to work, and started closing the distance, putting the fear of god into Grimes, who mounted several failed escape attempts over the barricade.

Lumis' slowly creeping his face over the barricade like a movie monster was premium cheese, though his performance was bruising and hard-hitting. Grimes blinding his opponent with a sack over his head showcased the performers' creativity. In the end, however, he was felled, with Lumis locking Cameron in Silence, wrapping the strap around his face for extra torque.

Lumis vs. Grimes was everything it needed to be and not a drop more. It was the only thing on the card that didn't overstay its welcome, and must be considered a success because of this.
