4. Call For The Priest!

Time for some good.

Making Damian Priest look strong going into this Backlash tag match involving Bad Bunny is a shrewd move. Priest has history with the rapper, and that should defo be one of the bigger hooks heading in. The same goes for the better-established Rey vs. Dominik drama that boiled over back at 'Mania.

Damian was the Judgment Day's difference-maker here, and it was cool to see a bit of subtle miscommunication cost Mysterio and Santos Escobar in the end. They failed to spot that Priest was still the legal man. WWE did a lot to show off the difference between longer-term stablemates and new ones with that.

Subbing out Bálor for Dominik and Santos for Bad Bunny could drop the in-ring quality significantly, but enough story is there to make the Backlash bout a marquee attraction domestically. It was a solid plan to make Priest the focal point on Friday regardless.
