4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 2)

4. This Is All They Have For AJ Styles?!

AJ Styles Top Dolla

AJ Styles has gone from working Seth Rollins at Night Of Champions for the new World Heavyweight Championship to having a wee skirmish opposite Top Dolla. That's a drop off even Austin Theory circa summer of 2022 would've palmed his forehead at. Yuck!

YUCK.

There's surely zero interest from the core fanbase at large in seeing AJ go at it vs. Dolla in singles action. Being brutally honest, this is criminally-poor follow up from Styles' World Title tilt, and it makes the entire OC group look like a total afterthought. Feuding with Hit Row is not a banner spot on the card.

Hopefully, Triple H realises what he has in AJ before it's too late and cancels any plans for a bout or two vs. Top Dolla. That'd be a complete and utter waste of Styles' talents. What, do they really think he's going to get something out of the big guy?! That's brave, if so.
