4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 2)

3. LA Knight…YEAH!

LA Knight and Montez Ford worked another tidy match that proved to be one of SmackDown's highlights. Both guys would've been a good fit for the MITB ladder match, being honest, but that meant the result was unpredictable and interesting. You really can't diss a match like this.

LA winning also seems to be the correct call, because he's some people's pick to win the briefcase and complete a most unlikely manager-to-wrestler turnaround. Fans are super-into Knight, so much so that Ford even heard some light booing throughout the bout

Maybe WWE can use that to facilitate a Street Profits heel turn and make this win-win? There are definitely worse ideas, and it's true that Ford and partner Angelo Dawkins need a bit of a shake up soon. For now, having Montez put LA Knight over was a fine use of him.

YEAH!
