Did WWE just tease an upcoming World Title feud? Perhaps. It definitely seems like Drew McIntyre hasn't seen the last of Jinder Mahal. At Superstar Spectacle, Drew referenced their time together in 3MB, then blasted the returning Jinder with a Claymore Kick before Indus Sher scored the win in that six-man tag main event.

It's telling that Mahal didn't get pinned here. He could easily vow revenge on an upcoming episode of Raw after the Royal Rumble and then slot in as McIntyre's WWE Title challenger for Elimination Chamber or Fastlane in coming months. Mahal has pre-WrestleMania 37 stopgap written all over him.

This was his first match since besting Akira Tozawa on the 22 May 2020 episode of Main Event. Jinder is back from an injury lay off, looks in phenomenal physical shape and deserves the chance to haunt the upper card deck on Raw for a while.

It was great to see him back.
