4. A Messy And Uninspired Showcase

After Saturday night’s men’s four-way tag team showcase match, it felt like we were going to get more of the same with the women on Sunday.

Instead, the match was a disjointed and sometimes sloppy mess. Even a spotfest of a match has a flow to it, and this one felt all over the place, with eventual winners Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler disappearing moments into the match and not resurfacing until the finish. It made for a confusing and disjointed match that never really clicked with fans.

It wasn’t a bad match, but it certainly wasn’t on the level of the other showcase, and it was the worst announced match on the card Sunday night. So for that alone, it’s getting a “down” here.
