4 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Rampage (Nov 11)

1. Jungle Boy’s Steel Cage Challenge

Rampage kicked off with a top segment that saw Jack Perry challenge old pal Luchasaurus to a steel cage match at Full Gear. Then, predictably, things got heated and Lucha chokeslammed him onto a chair as the announcers cried foul (though Tony Schiavone earns a cookie for questioning what Jungle thought would happen).

Meanwhile, Christian Cage smirked away in the background.

The whole thing was really well-worked from start to finish, and it's the kind of thing fans need to see more of on Fridays. This was Dynamite-worthy. The fact it also lined up a major pay-per-view match is wonderful too - again, that should be happening more on Rampage.

Delivering in-ring promos like this will only drive people towards the show and make it must-see. No recaps in sight here, just straightforward underdog babyface vs. rampaging heels goodness. It sets the scene for more carnage inside the cage to come.
