4 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 9)

5. Elias & Hardy: A Couple Of Losers

Well, at least no guitars were broken on Monday night.

Raw featured a second chance match for the final slot at Survivor Series, with Elias, Jeff Hardy and (Matt) Riddle squaring off. The match itself was nothing special, as the three men struggled at times to get on the same page. The finish came when Riddle caught Elias in the corner and nailed the Bro Derek for the win.

And thus, Elias and Hardy, still seemingly embroiled in their little mid-card rivalry, played backup to Riddle and the entire Survivor Series match, failing to win in two attempts to join the team. While it doesn’t mean much in the long haul, it definitely doesn’t make you want to see this feud continue.

But hey, they probably have a backlog of balsa wood guitars that need to get broken, so buckle up.
