4 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Aug 7)
1. Braun Doesn't Give A Sh*t About Alexa?
Get this.
WWE booked Bray Wyatt's 'Fiend' to attack a vulnerable and lonely Alexa Bliss when he knew Braun Strowman was nowhere near. That worked because Braun and Alexa have been portrayed as pals for years on television, and it gave Wyatt some real menace. The company just p*ssed that menace up against a wall.
The 'Fiend' went to attack Bliss again this week, but she spurned his advances and calmly palmed his imminent Mandible Claw away. Then, as if that wasn't confusing enough, Strowman appeared on screen (he wasn't worried enough to show up on the off chance his friend might get attacked again?) and said he didn't care about Alexa.
The babyface champion literally said that he couldn't give less of a toss what Wyatt does to his old Mixed Match Challenge partner. Not only does that dump all over his concern at Extreme Rules, it makes Bliss' inclusion in the story totally pointless.
