Randy Orton fire
WWE.com

Literally everything about this Randy Orton versus Bray Wyatt/Fiend feud is bad, except for one potential development: Fiend could absolutely maul and demolish The Viper on Sunday.

On Monday night, we saw Fiend emerge from a burning coffin and put Orton down with a Mandible Claw. Now, unless Randy is planning to bring a cattle prod to the ring and zap Fiend before the bell rings, the outcome of this match should be clear: Fiend should straight-up murk Orton. He tried to barbecue Wyatt, to no avail, so what short of electrocuting him can he do to stop him?

If we get Fiend running right through Orton and sending him off to a much-needed sabbatical, then we’ll consider this a victory. But if we get a back-and-forth match with Orton trying to match Fiend’s depravity and possibly coming close to winning, then the (metaphorical) pitchforks will be out.

But for now, we’ll give this possibility a tacit “up.”
