4 Ups And 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE Smackdown (Nov 29)
1. You've Seen One, You've Seen 'Em All
The second hour of Smackdown rolled on with a curious match - Kane versus Luke Harper. While two-thirds of The Wyatt Family would be in action against American Alpha in the main event, Harper was taking up some old business with Kane.
The problem with this match was the obvious - it was a Kane singles match. If you've been watching WWE programming for the past 20 years, you've already seen it hundreds of times, and this was nothing new. Luke Harper is good, but he was working to Kane's speed, and the result was the same slow, plodding encounter that Kane has had with generations of stars.
The ending was odd, in that it came out of nowhere. Kane and Harper were trading punches when, all of a sudden, Kane grabbed Harper by the throat, gave him a Chokeslam, and got the pin. It was abrupt, but I guess it's hard to complain too much about the bout actually ending.
